| The Midwinter Fair was supposed to run from January 1 to June 30, but many of the exhibits were not ready on time. The official opening was postponed until January 27, and the closing was later moved to July 4. But the grounds were open at half price in advance of the official opening, and many of the concessions continued to run after the official closing. |
