NEW DOLPHIN DISCOVERY IS ‘A TOUCHING EXPERIENCE’ AT SIX FLAGS MARINE WORLD
A close encounter of the bottlenose dolphin kind is available for the first time at Six Flags Marine World in a new education program called Dolphin Discovery.
The two-hour Dolphin Discovery brings people and dolphins together with an emphasis on learning about the magnificent marine mammals in a memorable way. Program participants don wet suits to meet Marine World dolphins and dolphin trainers, including opportunities to touch the animals, to learn from the trainers, and to pose for a commemorative photo.
Dolphin Discovery will be the first and only dolphin interactive program in Northern California, though some 30 such programs exist nationwide. The program is open to persons age 9 and older. Participant numbers are limited and reservations are required. Dolphin Discovery dates will be Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, beginning March 17. Cost of the program is $99.99 per person, which includes admission to Six Flags Marine World. Dolphin Discovery gift certificates are available.
