Liseberg is making a large investment for the 2003 season. At this time, the new family attraction Blader, which will be Norden's highest and most fun wooden roller coaster, will open. It will be placed in the area formerly known as "Balders Hage" (roughly translates to "Gracing pasture for Balder". Balder being a figure in Norse mythology), which Liseberg formerly used as a service and personal, backstage area. The attraction is part of the recent developments in this new area.
The investment is about 100,000,000 SEK (9.4 million USD), the largest single investment in an attraction in Liseberg's 78 year history.

Liseberg presenterar Balder - Nordens största och roligaste berg-och-dalbana i trä!
Liseberg storsatsar inför säsongen 2003. Då invigs den nya familjeattraktionen Balder som blir Nordens högsta och roligaste berg-och-dalbana i trä. Den placeras i det nyanlagda attraktionsområdet i före detta Balders Hage, som Liseberg tidigare använt som service-, personal- och backstageområde. Attraktionen är en del i utvecklandet av det nya området.
Investeringen uppgår till ca. 100.000.000 SEK, vilket är den största enskilda attraktionsinvesteringen i Lisebergs 78-åriga historia.
