| Notes: | This park was discovered thanks to the 10/17/2001 edition of the New York Times (page A10). A mention of the park can also be found on the U.S. Department of State's website: Al Mogran Family Park is an amusement park on the point of land where the White and Blue Niles meet. The park has rides, refreshment stands, and a first-aid station. It is operated by the Sudanese People’s Armed Forces.
A Baustudio's (park architects) reference list may also make mention of this park. If this is the same park, it was originally called "Khartoum Family Park" and opened in 1977. |
