Location

Silver Spring Township Park now exists where Willow Mill Park was.

History

In 1972 the park was damaged by Hurricane Agnes, the costliest natural disaster in the United States at that time. Damages were estimated at 3.1 billion USD of which 2.2 billion occurred in Pennsylvania.

Owner / Operator

From at least the 1950s the park was owned by the Fasnacht family. They may have been the original owners as well. At some time prior to 1972 the park was bought by the Rohrbaugh family. After the park was damaged by Hurricane Agnes most of the Rohrbaugh family got out of the business and sold their shares to Ron & Cassie Rohrbaugh who operated the park until it finally closed.
