Location

In the early 2000s, the Suburban Park Apartments were built on the former park site.

Notes

Suburban Park ran the following ad in the September 23rd, 1950 issue of Billboard:

ROLLER COASTER
FOR SALE
Will sell only Coaster in park in Central
New York (Syracuse) for $5,000. Give long-
term lease to buyer who will install new
track, cars and front estimated cost of
$20,000. Present upright structure in good
condition, built as straight-away; about
1800' side-friction track to be replaced with
modern under-friction type. Write or phone
FRED W. SEARLE, Mgr.
Suburban Park Manlius, N.Y.
Phone 2-4811

Photos from the mid-1970s show the Comet's track and cars were a side-friction design. If the advert was referencing the Comet, the proposed conversion to a under-friction design never occurred.
