Location:	Luna park was located "behind" or north of what is today considered the Coney Island area. Luna Park existed in the area bordered by Neptune Avenue, West 8th Street, Surf Avenue and West 12th Street.
History:	The park was destroyed by fire on August 12, 1944 and the land was later used for a low income housing project.
