History:	Waverly Beach was a stop on the Interurban railway operated by the Rockford Beloit & Janesville Railway Co. which ran from 1902 to 1930.
Location:	Located on the west side of the Rock River just north of the 4th Street bridge. The Rock Bar & Grill exists where the park formerly stood.
