History: The Venom was originally enclosed inside of a mountain façade and called the Beast.  The ride was removed in 2001 to make room for the Castle Entertainment Centre.  This project was canceled when it became known the park could close in the next 5 years.  The Venom was then rebuilt less the mountain façade.  But it is thought this was only for the purpose of demonstrating it to prospective buyers and not for public operation.  By the middle of 2005 the Venom disappeared from the park.
