| Theme: | The name "Goudurix" is based on "Goût du risque" meaning, "The taste of danger". Parc Astérix is based on the comic books about "Astérix the Gaul". In one of these comics Astérix met the Vikings who conquered Europe before the middle ages. In the comic, the Vikings didn't understand "fear" and came to France to experience fear. The sign at the ride's entrance displays a drawing of the Viking leader saying "Faites-moi peur!" meaning, "Scare me!". |
