Etymology: "Picos" is Spanish for "Peaks". "7 Peaks" is a reference to a popular mountainous section in the State of Madrid near the cities of Navacerrada and Cercedilla.
History: The 7 Picos gave 77 million rides during its 36 years of operation. The cars from the 7 Picos were auctioned off and the rest of the ride was sold for scrap metal after it closed at Parque de Atracciones Madrid.
