The Goliath Jr. was rebuilt and customized to look like the Goliath from the former Wile E. Coyote Coaster. The old supports were replaced with supports that resembled those found on the Goliath. The trains were rebuilt from the chassis up. And it was repainted with Goliath's color scheme.
According to a maintenance worker who has been with Magic Mountain since the opening, this Bradley & Kaye coaster came from Beverly Park. Beverly Park was owned by David Bradley and he installed the his first prototype coaster at the park in 1946. So it is possible that Magic Mountain now owns this original 1946 prototype. It is also possible since David Bradley owned the park, the coasters were swapped out as they were sold, making it a later model. |
