For its 35th anniversary, Revolution got an overhaul. The refurbishment consists of the queue being reimagined with the help of theming and decorating company Kabuki, and an update/expansion of the lighting effects. Also, the train's chassis is replaced by a completely new chassis by Vekoma while the bodywork itself was renovated.
For the 2016 season optional Virtual Reality glasses/headsets were added. Giving the ride two experiences and names -- Revolution for those who want to ride without the VR-glasses and Mount Mara if you opt for the VR-glasses. For the start of the 2023 season, the VR-option was permanently removed.
The Revolution's height is sometimes listed at 26.3 m. This is believed to be the height of the building and the track only reaches 18.52 m.
