History

Six Flags Entertainment Corporation sells off six of its regional parks to Enchanted Parks. La Ronde is part of these seven parks and is now owned by the same mother company but operations are being run by La Ronde Operations Inc.
La Ronde was sold to Six Flags.
Started as the amusement section of the 1967 World's fair and owned by the city of Montréal up until 2001.

Notes

Since 1985 La Ronde has hosted "Le Mondial SAQ" (formerly "L'International Benson & Hedges") -- the most prestigious fireworks competition in the world.
