The Wildcat existed in there area where the Storm Runner, Trailblazer and Dry Gulch Railroad are today.

The Wildcat was not owned by Hersheypark, but PTC. Hersheypark leased the land to PTC for a period of 15 years.

This was the first roller coaster designed by Herbert Schmeck. He worked on roller coasters prior to the Wildcat, but as a construction manager, not a designer.
