| History: | A derailment on the Fujin Raijin II on 5/5/2007 caused the death of a women. This resulted in the closing of all rides at Expoland pending inspection. The park reopened on 8/10/2007 and the Fujin Raijin II remained closed. This event affected parks all across Japan when the Japanese government required inspections to be preformed across the country. Many parks and/or roller coasters closed simply because they were unable to afford these newly required inspections. |
