Parque de Diversões: Laurel Park
Onde: Mount Gretna, Pennsylvania, EUA
Situação: Falecida
Operated from 1926 to 1930s
Notes: The roller coaster at Laurel Park is thought to have closed in 1930 while some references state the park closed in the mid 1930s due to the great depression.  So perhaps the park and swimming pool survived longer than the roller coaster.
The Kauffman who owned Laurel Park may have been the father of Norman Kaufman who leased the former Steeplechase Park land from Fred C. Trump in Coney Island.  Kenny Kaufman, Norman's son who took over the business was said to be 3rd generation in the family amusement business.  There is a slight spelling difference in the last names, but that is likely a typographical error over the years.
Etymology: Laurel Park was often called "Kauffman's Park" after the park's owner, but that was never the park's official name.
