Notes

The rcdb defines the Banana Roll a single inversion Cobra Roll. The difference being how much “un-inversion” occurs at the midpoint. The following logic attempts to explains this and it applies to other inversions such as the Double Inverting Stall and the Maxx Dive Loop.

The magic number rcdb uses to determine when a roll or bank becomes an inversion is 135° which comes from 90° + 45° -- the halfway point between on your side and fully inverted. With multi-inversion elements such as the Cobra Roll, there needs to be a point where one element ends and the next begins. The inverse of the prior rule is used for this purpose. This means a second inversion cannot begin until the prior has dropped back down below 45°. The Cobra Roll does this while the Banana Roll does not.
