Facts: A very dense rainforest surrounds the Orphan Rocker and it makes use of the natural terrain.  The track consists of many heavily banked turns, one which is built on the edge of a 700 foot cliff.
The Orphan Rocker cars can rock/swing from side to side.  Think of how a mine car dumps, but put the pivot point at the top of the car.
The Orphan Rocker was built in 1988 by an Australian company.  Problems  discovered during testing keeping the ride from opening to the public.  Since the 1990s several pieces of track were redesigned and replaced.  In 2002 the wheel hubs were replaced.  In February 2004 the ride is still being worked on.  But no indications as to when the ride will open are known at this time.
