| Considered at one time to have operated more or less continuously from late 1800s until 2002. However, the original ride was constructed from wood; the later steel version is now thought to have replaced this at some point during the 1930s. It was on this basis that the structure lost its Grade 2 listed buidling status, facilitating its lawful demolition in 2004. |
