History

Started as the amusement section of the 1967 World's fair and owned by the city of Montréal until April of 2001 when Six Flags purchased the park.

Notes

Since 1985 La Ronde has hosted "Le Mondial SAQ" (formerly "L'International Benson & Hedges") -- the most prestigious fireworks competition in the world.
