Andrew was a designer, engineer, and builder of water rides and roller coasters. His office was along Route 4 in Springfield, OH, as of November 5, 1941. He had been in the field for 35 years, having spent 11 years in Europe prior to World War II. He supervised the construction of roller coasters for the 1937 Exposition Internationale des Arts et Techniques dans la Vie Moderne (International Exposition of Art and Technology in Modern Life), as well as in Glasgow, Scotland.
