Etymology

A 1957 photo (which is believed to be misdated) might suggest the wild mouse's name was "Jaguar". Jaguar is the same spelling in Danish and English.

Notes

See the main Fyns Tivoli page for notes regarding conflicting information between the Wild Mouse and the Rutchebanen (Flying Turns).

Operating schedule

The wild mouse is thought to have opened in the late 1960s or early 1970s -- taking the place of the Rutchebanen (Flying Turns). An advert from an Odense Newspaper dated April 18th, 1969 states "SÆSON PREMIERE; Kom og få det store gys i den NYE, STORE RUTSCHEBANEN", or in English: "Season Premiere. Come and have a big thrill in the NEW BIG ROLLER COASTER". Assuming this is referencing the wild mouse, it would place it in 1969.
