In a 1959 letter to Kennywood Park, Ben Schiff stated that he was no longer planning to produce the larger size of Wild Mouse, having sold all his materials to a company in England that was going to produce the ride. "Butlin" is believed to be the company that Schiff sold his materials to.
An October 1948 Billboard magazine article lists B.A. Schiff as returning firm. No reference to B.A. Schiff has been found prior to 1947 so it is assumed this was the company's first year.
