| Parc Spirou is based upon and themed around the comic book figure of Spirou. Spirou is a reporter created by French author Robert Velter in 1938 but brought to great popularity and iconic status by the Belgian author Franquin. The series has been continued by many different authors and is still very much alive today. Spirou and his friend Fantasio go on all sorts of classic adventures all around the world.The park brings the series characters and locations to live through the names and theming of the rides. |
