| The park was started by Audley and Le Forest (Bob) Ingersoll, brothers of Frederick Ingersoll. Audley appears to have been more involved with the park and lived in Houston, while Le Forest remained in St. Joseph, Missouri. In 1927, Audley sold the park the Abe W. Wagner, an attorney from Houston. |
