| The park's has been described as "on nearly 200 acres of land off Eighth Street Road north of the Illinois State Fairgrounds". Imagery from 1946 on Historic Aerials shows open land immediately north of the fair which is in the 200 acres range and this is the spot geocoded for the park. 200 acres is nearly the size of the present day Illinois State Fairgrounds. |
