|Former names:||Serpiente de Fuego (1993)|
Montaña Rusa (1964 to 1992)
|Designer:||Aurel Vaszin, Edward Leis|
|Etymology:||In 1993, the Montaña Rusa's name was changed to "Serpiente de Fuego", Spanish for "Fire Snake". The change was poorly received and before the year was over, the name was chanhed back to "Montaña Rusa".|
|Notes:||This is a "Mobius" coaster - a coaster with one continuous track, so when you ride on the left side, you will return on the right and vice-versa. The length of the continuous track is really 8000 feet.|
A major overhaul was performed starting in 1987 and continued into 1988.
