Etymology

In the language of travelling showman/people living a nomadic life, Niglo is a synonym for the French 'hérisson', meaning hedgehog. The park's mascot, Niglo, is a hedgehog.

Owner / Operator

Nigloland was created by two French fun fair brothers, named Patrick & Philippe Gélis. After a visit to Disney World in the United States, they decided on selling off all the fun fair rides in their family and start a theme park on a plot of land they already owned.
