Theme

Erlebnispark Tripsdrill has a somewhat peculiar theme. The park started around an old mill with slides called 'Altweibermühle' (German for Old Wives Mill). Using the slides would rejuvenate people. Eternal youth is also the theme of their log flume ride. The park developed different themes. Part of the park and its rides are themed around courting, relationships, marriage, children. Other parts are related to the wine industry. Erlebnispark Tripsdrill is located within the German wine region and also produces wine. Other themes focus on general topics like doing household. The park is focused on German culture and has often extensive queue lines with some of them even offering semi walkthrough museums.

Pop Culture

In an October 2010 episode of the German movie-series "Tatort" (German for "Crime scene") called "Schrei" (German for "Scream") the crime scene was located in Erlebnispark Tripsdrill. One scene included a front seat ride on the Mammut.
