| There are a few references in Billboard Magizine about a possible additional and unusual roller coaster for Meyers Lake: - December 12th, 1936, Page 44: "Big Ride and Novel Expo On Meyers Lake Program CANTON, 0., Dec. 5 Work is progressing in Meyers Lake Park here on construction of the Sky Rocket, new type coaster with thrilling turns. The ride is to be of structural steel with all -steel trains. Ernest Thomas has charge of the crew and they are planning to send a car over it this year, weather permitting." - February 6th, 1937: "The new ride, almost ready for its test trip, promises to be one of the fastest and safest, with aeroplane turns to provide plenty of thrills." |
