Glen Echo Park may have had a "Mad Mouse" roller coaster (presumably a Allan Herschell Mad Mouse based on the name). The information on this is unclear if the Mad Mouse was at Glen Echo Park or if it is referencing the Mad Mouse at Marshall Hall Park to the south. |
In 1971 the Federal Government obtained the Glen Echo Park property and the National Park Service was put in charge of the park. In 2002, management of the park was handed over to Montgomery County who in turn, formed the "Glen Echo Park Partnership for Arts and Culture Inc." which manages the park today. |
