Location

In 1996, Triangle Equities won a proposal to build a retail and entertainment center from the NYC Economic Development Corporation. Triangle Plaza II was completed in 1999 which included a movie theater and retail stores.

History

The park started with a miniature golf course, arcade, restaurant and kiddie rides. Rides are thought to mostly be concessions at this time. Between 1966 and 1974 the park expanded to the northwest approximately doubling in size. The miniature golf course and Comet Coaster disappeared at this time. These changes may have coincided with an ownership change in the 1960s.  By 1978 the amusement rides were closed and many left abandoned while the arcade, the park's mainstay, remained open into the 1980s.
