| The park remained closed in 2020. For 2021 the land owner (Axel Surup) decided to lease the park again. Verena and Christoph Nadermann (owners of Tierpark Nadermann through Nadermann Erlebnispark GmbH) took out the new lease for a reopening in 2021. | |
| After two seasons under new management, Verena and Christoph Nadermann decided on ending their lease of the park. They opted to invest their time and resources in Tierpark Nadermann, which has always been in the Nadermann family. Norman Surup, grandson of the park's founder Walter Surup, stepped up and reopened the park for the 2023 season. |
