The coaster was initially mentioned being called 'Mond-Katapult', being German for 'Moon Catapult'. Near the opening of the ride, the name was changed to 'Gobbi Express'.
Notes
In 2021 Taunus Wunderland started clearing land in an adjacent lot which is to be added to the park. This new lot will enlarge the park with 35,000 m² (+/- 8.65 acres) of land and some smaller rides were already added in 2021. On construction fences alongside this area, the park has now put a banner reading 'Hier entsteht Hessens längste Achterbahn'. This is German for 'Here comes the longest roller coaster in Hessen', with Hessen being the German Land the park is in. Not taking into account mountain coasters, the current longest roller coaster in Hessen is the park's own Wilde Maus with a length of 370 m (+/- 1,1214 ft).
While the coaster is the original former Galaxie Express, the park decided on having some of its supports replaced. These new supports were made by MSD Freizeittechnik. Gerstlauer Amusement Rides GmbH was also involved in remodelling the coaster and redesigning the trains.
