| The Big Fury was part of the park's "Fun Fair" expansion. It stood about where the lift of the Shoot-the-Chutes is now, or under the rollover inversions of Chiller. There was another path into that area then, and walking toward where the Freefall is now, the Big Fury was on the right. |
| The Big Fury is a very good match (model, years, train arrangement, colors, etc.) to have become the Thunderail at Hamel's Park and later the Zyklon at Celebration City where more pictures exist. There are differences that challenge this such as the brake run awning being different sizes (the Big Fury has two additional decorative hexagons) and the decorative lights were the same style, but different colors. |
