James "Jim" H. Wintrode (born July 26, 1946) was park president from 1987 to December 2003 (retired).
Tim Black, previously from Six Flags Great Adventure becomes park president in December 2003.
Ronald Sevart was park president from 2004(?) to 2006(?) (moved to Six Flags Great Adventure in January 2006?).
Charles "Hank" Salemi becomes park president until he passed away unexpectedly on January 9, 2022 (Libertyville, IL). Born on May 10, 1964, in Birmingham, AL. Hank served as the Six Flags Great America Marketing director from 1997 to 2000 and worked as Six Flags (corporate) chief marketing officer before returning to Six Flags Great America in 2006.
