| The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium purchased adjacent Wyandot Lake property in 2006 from Six Flags. During 2007, the former Wyandot Lake area was closed during a reconstruction and reconfiguration project. The Wyandot Lake property was divided into two parts - the water park, Zoombezi Bay, which has its own gate/admission and the former amusement rides became a new section of the zoo called Jungle Jack's Landing. The dates and statuses displayed here represent those of Wyandot Lake, not the zoo, which opened in 1927. |
