The 31 story Oakbrook Terrace Tower now occupies the land where the park once existed. One of the roads leading to the tower is named Castle Drive in memory of Dispensa's Castle of Toys -- an 8 story tall castle themed toy store built 8 years prior to the amusement park. |
The Dispensa family also operated a traveling carnival. The rides were shared between the carnival and the Kiddie Kingdom. More so during the earlier years of Kiddie Kingdom as it seems the Kiddie Kingdom outlasted the carnival operation. |
Auctioned off by Norton Auctioneers of Michigan in 1984. |
