This coaster is located in a new for 2024 Croatia themed area. The decorative satellite dish near the park's western edge was removed to make way for the new area. |
The new coaster was planned for an opening in late 2023. Due to disturbances and delays in delivery chains for materials and parts needed by Mack Rides GmbH & Co KG, the finalisation and opening of the ride was pushed back to 2024. |
Voltron features 7 inversions. It is sometimes being referred to by some as having 8 but the element in between the second inversion (Immelmann) and the third (Zero-G Stall) has an angle not sufficient enough to be considered an inversion by rcdb. |
This coaster is themed around Croatia born Nikola Tesla and his experiments with among other things electricity. For the coaster's storyline, people visit a former water works plant that came into possession of Tesla for conducting experiments with transporting energy through the air. He now wants to transport people, charged up with energy from point A (the coaster's station) to point B (the coaster's return/turning point) and back. For this he built two so called Wardenclyffe Towers. These towers will be 1/2 scaled down replicas (28m/57m) (92ft/187ft) of Nikola Tesla's original and authentic Wardenclyffe Tower. |
